Ready to Join the Fun?
We’re always glad when families join us for a field trip, lend a hand at a classroom party, or help with a school activity. Before volunteering with students, all adults need to complete the required VIRTUS training and clearance.
Please start early and complete every step before your volunteer date.
Your VIRTUS Game Plan
1. Read the instructions first.
Take a few minutes to read the full guide before you begin. Completing each step helps prevent delays.

2. Create or access your account.
When you’re ready, register with VIRTUS—or sign in if you already have an account. When asked for your location, select the Diocese of Grand Rapids and Holy Trinity Catholic School.
3. Complete your training and forms.
Follow the prompts to complete the required Protecting God’s Children training and any forms assigned to you.
4. Finish the background-check steps.
Complete all screening steps requested for your account, and check that your requirements are finished before volunteering.
Already Have a VIRTUS Account?
Sign in to your existing account. If you can’t remember your login, use the account-recovery option on the VIRTUS website instead of creating a second account.
