8th Grade Hand Bell Program at Holy Trinity School

At Holy Trinity, we are excited to offer our 8th grade students the wonderful opportunity to learn how to play hand bells—a beautiful and engaging way for students to explore music while deepening their connection with God.

A Unique and Meaningful Experience

The hand bell program is directed by Mr. Larry Barton, who brings his expertise and passion for music to guide students as they learn this special instrument. Throughout the year, students practice and perform various pieces that help them grow musically while also using their talents to praise and honor God.

Performances and Special Events

  • Advent Program: Students perform as part of the annual Advent program, sharing their musical gifts with the school and parish community in celebration of the Christmas season.
  • Special Events: Throughout the year, the hand bell choir also performs at various special events at school and within the community, enhancing the liturgical life of the school with their joyful music.
  • Graduation: The hand bell choir culminates their year with a special performance at their graduation, playing a song that symbolizes their growth and journey during their time at Holy Trinity.

A Beautiful Way to Learn and Serve

The hand bell program not only teaches students a valuable musical skill but also encourages them to serve and praise God through their talents. As they learn to play in harmony with others, they develop teamwork, discipline, and creativity—all while contributing to the beauty of the liturgy and school events.

We are grateful for the opportunity to offer this special program to our 8th grade students, and we look forward to hearing their beautiful music as they use their gifts to glorify God and celebrate their final year at Holy Trinity School.
