Join the Science Olympiad Team at Holy Trinity

Students in grades 6-8 have a fantastic opportunity to join the Science Olympiad team at Holy Trinity School. This exciting extracurricular program allows students to explore a wide range of science topics, engage in hands-on learning, and compete in one of the nation's most thrilling K-12 science competitions.

How It Works

• Preparation: Students meet with Ms. Laura Guzman, our dedicated Science Olympiad coach, during lunchtime and after school to work on projects, practice events, and prepare for the regional competition.
• Regional Competition: The team competes in the regional Science Olympiad  competition held annually at Grand Valley State University in March. Students participate in various events covering topics like biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and more.

Past Successes

While our team is small, we have a history of success. In the past two years, our students have placed in multiple events and received ribbons for their outstanding performances. Our Science Olympiad team is a great opportunity for students to not only excel academically but also gain confidence in teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
