The SCRIP program is a simple and effective way for Holy Trinity School families to raise funds for specific needs while earning tuition credit. By purchasing gift cards and certificates to a wide variety of merchants, you can help support our school and reduce your tuition costs—at no additional cost to you!

What is SCRIP?

The word SCRIP means "substitute money." SCRIP consists of gift cards and certificates from well-known retailers, restaurants, and other merchants. You buy the gift cards at their face value, and in return, Holy Trinity receives a percentage back from the merchant.

• No hidden fees: The cards you purchase are exactly the same as those you would buy from a store or online.
• Earn tuition credit: When you purchase SCRIP, 75% of the merchant’s credit goes towards your tuition at Holy Trinity School, Preschool, or West Catholic High School, and 25% goes to the church. Over time, these small amounts add up to significant savings on your tuition!

How the SCRIP Program Works

Here’s an example of how it works:

• If you purchase a $25 gas card for Speedway, you pay exactly $25 for it. However, Speedway gives back 4% of the purchase amount, so you receive $.75 toward your tuition account and the church receives $.25.

• No extra cost: You purchase the same gift cards you would buy anywhere else, but you earn tuition credit and support the school and church.
