Holy Trinity Catholic School Financial Aid & Scholarships

At Holy Trinity Catholic School, we are committed to making a faith-filled Catholic education accessible to all families. Through the use of Blackbaud Financial Aid Management, we strive to equitably assess and distribute tuition assistance based on financial need.  You can complete your application through https://studentfinancialaid.blackbaud.school/ and use the Holy Trinity School ID: 13301 when prompted, and if you have any questions, please contact me at smurphy@holytrinitycp.org.

Financial Aid Calculation

Holy Trinity Catholic School uses Blackbaud Financial Aid Management to evaluate financial need. Families submit an application, which reviews income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Awards are based on this assessment to help with tuition. Early application and full documentation are encouraged.

Scholarships Available

A variety of scholarships are available to support our families, including:

• Bishop’s Scholarship
• Awarded by the Diocese based on financial need.
• Families must apply through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management.
• Holy Trinity Foundation Scholarship
• Needs-based scholarship funded by a percentage of our Catholic Foundation of West Michigan Education Fund.
• Families must demonstrate financial need through Blackbaud assessment.
• Knights of Columbus Scholarships (2 awarded annually)
• Based on financial need and involvement in the parish.
• Families must complete the financial aid application.
• Home & School Scholarships (2 awarded annually)
• Each scholarship is $250.
• Randomly drawn on VIP Day.
• Eligible students must be registered for the 2025-2026 school year.

We encourage all families to apply and take advantage of these opportunities. Our goal is to provide a high-quality Catholic education while ensuring financial constraints do not prevent students from growing in their faith and academics at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

SCRIP Program

With a little planning ahead, SCRIP can lead to big tuition savings! SCRIP is a program where gift cards or gift certificates are purchased and used for the full face value and a percentage of the face value is credited to a specific child’s tuition account. SCRIP can be used at participating grocery stores, gas stations, retail stores, fast food, full service restaurants, etc. Click here for a list of participating vendors. Friends and relatives can also purchase SCRIP and apply their proceeds to a specific child’s tuition account.

To sign up for scrip you need to download the Raise Right app on your smartphone (it is the app with the blue and red heart) or sign up on their website, RaiseRight.com and select "Join A Program". You will be asked for our enrollment code (which I provide following your approval) and be directed to link your bank account. The Diocese does not allow parishes to accept cash or check payments for scrip. Even though a check is one of the payment options, the Diocese does not allow this option. Credit Card payment is an option with a 2.5% convenience fee. Raise Right only charges a $0.29 convenience fee per order. The approval process usually takes 1-2 days. Once you are approved you may order immediately. 

In these areas please make note of any special directions for the use of your credits. Your SCRIP will be delivered to the school, the coordinator will put it into an envelope and send it home with your oldest/only student at Holy Trinity School. If you do not have a student in school, you will be able to pick up your order at the church rectory.
